Lookbook #8 - ZEN
INSPIRING PATTERNS WITH ZEN AND ZEN ONLY
A few months ago we released a few new yarns. Our ZEN is one of these new kids on the block! ZEN is a light and voluminous yarn made from cotton and nylon. It has a fine tubular structure filled with high-quality cotton fibers. This brings volume and comfort to all your projects. And what these projects can be? We asked our designer Manon (@petit_petite_nl) if she could put together a lookbook, consisting of Zen patterns only. And guess what? Here it is!

SLOUCHY POUCH
The SLOUCHY POUCH is not only very versatile because of the many ways it can be worn, it also is a multipurpose bag. With its circumference of approx.. 30 cm you can use it as a ‘to-go’ bag for all your daily essentials or use it to hold all your bigger knit- or crochet projects. Choose your favorite color from our Zen-range and we are can’t wait to see you rocking your SLOUCHY POUCH!

LOTS OF DOTS WRAP
Dots (don’t we all love ‘em?) are the base for the LOTS OF DOTS WRAP. This wrap is made with 10 balls of Zen and one ball of Must-Have in a ton-sur-ton color. Because of the open lace motif with picots you can wear it as a scarf during spring but also wrap it around you when you are outside on a breezy summer night.

COOL CROSSBODY BAG
Keys, wallet, phone, lipstick – these are all essentials you want to take with you when you are leaving the house. The COOL CROSSBODY BAG can store those essentials for you and will make sure you’ll look on trend this spring/summer. It’s nice and sturdy because you’ll crochet using two to three strands at a time. So, get your crochet hooks ready – choose your favorite color of Zen and let’s go!

TANK TOP
Summer is almost here! The TANK TOP is a perfect basic to fit in your spring- or summer wardrobe. Because it is knitted from our Zen, this top is very airy and light! Zen is made from 66% cotton and 34% nylon which means the top breathes very well and has a flowy fit. And did you know there are no seams in this top? The only question that’s left is: in which color are you going to make yours?

KNOT-A-SCARF

MEET PETIT PETITE
Manon better known as Petit-Petite, started crocheting in 2013. She learned it by watching Youtube videos (sounds familiar right?). Her first project was a simple baby blanket, soon a stuffed animal followed and not long after she was unstoppable.
Manon shared her new projects on Instagram, where she can be found as @petit_petite_nl. Besides her fellow instagrammers, she also got approached by famous magazines and bloggers. That’s when her journey on designing patterns for others started.
Besides Instagram, she started blogging on her own website www.petit-petite.nl in 2016. To celebrate the launch of her new website she designed a pattern in collaboration with Yarn and Colors. When the chance came to elaborate this partnership she seized the opportunity. Manon has been our in-house designer and a proud member of our Yarn and Colors family for quite some years now. She designed a lot of popular designs from fashion to home deco. Which one is your favourite?
