Basics and classics you can’t go wrong with, we love them over here at Yarn and Colors. Our designer Manon, also known as Petit-Petite, has designed quite a few. She made all patterns in our Basics By Yarn and Colors collection and we are about to add some variations on these classics. Are you ready?
The Striped Jumper is one of our most popular kits all time. A little while after the release of the Striped Jumper Kit we launched the Striped Jumper Reversed. Because these are both knitting patterns we decided to make a crochet edition for all you crocheters out there: The Classic Jumper. It is made from our Baby Fabulous which makes it airy and flowy.
One sweater, four different designs. Four you say? Because of the new crochet edition we also decided to add just another knitted version. Next to the Striped Jumper, the Striped Jumper Reversed we also want to present the Striped Jumper Color Block.

STRIPED JUMPER
The Striped jumper is a solid basic you can always wear. First there are the stripes which are always good. They combine easily with other clothing and will always be a fashionable basic. Second is the fact that you can pick from 5 different colors. Last but not least, it’s knitted from our Epic yarn which is 100% cotton. Convinced? Let us know how you would wear it!

When we released the original Striped Jumper kit we got many questions about the color combinations. “Can’t it be the other way around? MEET PETIT PETITE
Manon better known as Petit-Petite, started crocheting in 2013. She learned it by watching Youtube videos (sounds familiar right?). Her first project was a simple baby blanket, soon a stuffed animal followed and not long after she was unstoppable.
Manon shared her new projects on Instagram, where she can be found as @petit_petite_nl. Besides her fellow instagrammers, she also got approached by famous magazines and bloggers. That’s when her journey on designing patterns for others started.
Besides Instagram, she started blogging on her own website www.petit-petite.nl in 2016. To celebrate the launch of her new website she designed a pattern in collaboration with Yarn and Colors. When the chance came to elaborate this partnership she seized the opportunity. Manon has been our in-house designer and a proud member of our Yarn and Colors family for quite some years now. She designed a lot of popular designs from fashion to home deco. Which one is your favourite?
