We have chosen many different color combinations, so that you can spot which new colors we added to our Zen collection. In addition to the original ten colors, six new colors have been added: 006 Taupe, 041 Coral, 060 Navy Blue, 072 Glass, 073 Jade Gravel and 089 Gold.

BASIC BLANKET
A blanket that fits into any interior… Say hi to the BASIC BLANKET! Made with Zen in two colors that highlight the beautiful graphic pattern. You can join in the middle by using mattress stitch, or go for joining with a lace motif. Are you going for Ton sur Ton colors or do you prefer using contrasting colors?
You can buy the kit or the digital pattern only. The kit contents:
- 36 balls of Zen, 18 of each color (finished blanket will measure 160 x 160 cm)

BASIC FLOOR CUSHION
Become Zen by crocheting this cool BASIC FLOOR CUSHION with our Zen yarn. Use it for your (morning) meditation(s) or just to chill and crochet. This design is by Suzanne (@made.by.su) and she made two versions: Basic and Boho! Which Floor Cushion do you prefer?
You can buy the kit or the digital pattern only. The kit contents:
- 16 balls Zen (13 of one color, 3 of the other) and 2 bags of stuffing (one of 500 g / one of 250 g)

BASIC PLANT BASKETS
You never have enough plants in your house. They provide atmosphere and cosiness in your home, especially when you also crochet these nice BASIC PLANT BASKETS in the colors of your home around it. You can make two plant baskets with just ten balls of Zen: one large basket and a small one. With what plants would you fill these cozy baskets?

MEET SUZANNE | @MADE.BY.SU
My name is Suzanne, I’m 33 years old and live with my boyfriend in a small village in the beautiful surrounding of the river the Waal in the Netherlands. I started crocheting 11 years ago with video’s from the internet. It really is the best way to learn the stitches, in my opinion. I started making beanies for friends, but actually didn’t really know what I technically was doing with my needle.
That changed when I started working at a company that sells wool and got in contact with other crocheters. Then, I really got inspired and when I saw a design I didn’t understand, my tendency was to figure it out.
When Yarn and Colors started, I got involved in testing the new yarns and got the free hand in designing for them, making patterns of everything I wanted to make or learn. It was a great opportunity for me and I became the first Yarn and Colors designer, the so called ‘huishaakster’ (in-home crocheter). Last year, I designed the Rainbow Collection for Yarn and Colors. It was also an ‘At Home’ crochet project, made with the lovely cotton yarn Epic. Like this Zen at Home project, it was great fun to create such a collection in one theme.
Because crocheting is something I control, it eases my mind and gives me rest. The most fun part for me is the mathematic side of it. Making a pattern is a lot of counting stitches and make sure everything fits and is written down correctly. That is what I love about designing a pattern.
