Lookbook #16 - ZOO-ANIMALS
MEET OUR NEW AMIGURUMI FRIENDS
The very first Yarn and Colors Amigurumi collection is here: Zoo-Animals! In collaboration with Margreet (@knotjeknus) we have 5 (!) amigurumi designs for you. Which one are you going to make first? Eddie Elephant, Zapp Zebra, Gina Giraf, Tess Tiger or maybe Pip Panda? All designs are made with Yarn and Colors Must-Have and stuffed with our own Yarn and Colors Panda® Stuffing.
The unique thing about these designs is that you’ll firstly crochet the arms and tail. Then you make the legs, the bottom (yes, they all have the cutest tushy) and the body all together. Whilst making the body you’ll crochet the arms and tail along. This saves you a lot work putting together your amigurumi! Because if we’re honest, we rather hold a crochet hook than a tapestry needle ??
You can buy these animals in the color scheme as shown on the pictures in a complete kit with yarn and stuffing. Would you rather buy the pattern separately? You can then choose your own colors and go crazy.
From now on it’s also possible to buy all patterns from a lookbook at once for an affordable price. You do not pay for five patterns, but you get one from us for free!

EDDIE ELEPHANT
Eddie Elephant is the first up in our Zoo Animal collection. Designed by Margreet (@knotjeknus) and made from Yarn and Colors Must-Have. Such a fun project to make! What are you waiting for? Go and make your own Eddie (and don't forget to make his friends!)

TESS TIGER
Tess Tiger is a great make! Designed by Margreet @knotjeknus and made using our Must-Have. We chose to make her black and white (or 002 Cream actually) but you could also choose to make her in totally different colors. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

MEET MARGREET | KNOTJEKNUS
Margreet, also known on Instagram as @Knotjeknus, is happily married and has three lovely daughters. She works as a pediatric nurse in the Rijnstate hospital. She learned how to crochet in 2016 by watching YouTube videos. She started making a number of trial (and error ??) Granny Squares and her very first real project was a beautiful big blanket in which she could use all kinds of stitches.,
Not much later Margreet discovered Instagram and gained so much inspiration that her crochet to-do list became very long (sounds familiar, right?). She created her own account and regularly posted her own crochet creations there. She enjoyed the enthusiastic reactions she received.
This is not the first time we are working together with Margreet. In 2020 she designed Lookbook #10 Going Green. Now she’s helping us out making the first Yarn and Colors Amigurumi collection: Zoo Animals. Which one are you going to make first?
