Must-Have Mini CAL - Raspberries
More soft fruit for you – here are the raspberries!
Little bombs of color and flavor, raspberries are always a good idea. Make yourself a handful and use 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm crochet hooks for a subtle difference in size. They’ll almost look real!
This is the second pattern of our ten-week Must-have Mini CAL. Did you already make the peach? And do you have any idea which design will be next? Follow us on our social media channels, and you’ll be the first to know.
Love, Manon

Raspberry
Make a mr using 033 and sc 4 in the mr.
Round 1: *sc 2 in every st* x 4 (8)
Round 2: *sc 1, sc 2 in next st* x 4 (12)
Bring the cast on tail to the outside through the middle of the mr – to the right side of your work.
Round 3: *sc 2, sc 2 in next st* x 4 (16)
Round 4: sc 16 around
Round 5: *sc 2, sc2tog* x 4 (12)
Round 6: sc2tog around (6)
Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail.
Baste the yarn through the outer loops (6) of the last round and pull tight.
Pull the yarn downwards through the raspberry, pull tight and tie a knot with the cast on tail. This will create a little ‘indent’ at the top. Weave the two ends in.
Raspberry leaves
Make a mr using 082 and sc 3 in the mr.
Work 1 sl st in 1st st, ch 4, 1 sl st in same st of mr.
Work 1 sl st in 2nd st, ch 4, 1 sl st in same st of mr.
Work 1 sl st in 3rd st, ch 4, 1 sl st in same st of mr.
Fasten off with 1 sl st in 1st sl st.
Pull the ends of the loops to make them pointy.
Stem
Ch 5 using 082 and fasten off.
Weave the ends in.
Tie the stem to the raspberry leaves.
Tie the raspberry leaves to the raspberry.
Weave in all ends.
Make more raspberries without a stem than raspberries with a stem.
Use a 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and a 3 mm hook for the strawberries for a slight difference in size. They almost look real!
You can use up color 033 Raspberry, we won’t be needing that one later on in the CAL. We will be using color 082 Grass a few more times. Make sure you have enough yarn left in that color.
