Introduction
After the great success of the Butterfly effect CAL that we did with Sisters in Stitch in 2019 we thought it was time for a ‘part deux’. Tess (@sistersinstitch) has let her creative mind and gifted hands work with our yarns and we are proud to present to you the Island Stroll CAL!

The Island Stroll CAL brings you floral squares that will slowly turn into beautiful octagons and then finally be joined together. The designs are inspired by fauna and nature of the island Tess lives on so the colorways are named after the three elements of her beloved morning strolls: Saunter in the sunlight, Stroll by the sea and Walk in the woods.
This Crochet A Long (CAL) consists of one main pattern yet brings you two options of makes depending on which yarn you choose to work with. Either you go for the luxuriously luscious blanket in our Super Must-Have, or for the stunningly textured pillow in the Must-Have yarn. - 25 balls of Yarn and Colors Super Must-Have in colorway

- Yarn and Colors 6 mm crochet hook
- Darning needle
- Yarn and Colors Tiny scissors
- Stitch markers
For the pillow/cushion - 15 balls of

We rated the skill level ’intermediate’ but one of our testers had very little experience making granny square and managed to make the pattern anyway. Tess guides you with very clear pattern descriptions and video’s all along.
From May 6th, a free blog post will be online every Friday (around 12:00 CET) for 11 weeks. In those blog posts you will find the pattern (in US terms) and links to the video material Tess made. To get you in the mood you’ll find all the stitches used in the pattern here. Let’s get those hooks ready and practice a little bit!
